Kurt Cobain was the frontman of Nirvana. He grew up in Aberdeen, Washington with Buzz Osborne and was heavily influenced by the punk music that Buzz listened to.
- Kurt Cobain is credited with producing tracks 1, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13 on Houdini. He played guitar on "Sky Pup" and percussion on "Spread Eagle Beagle".
- It is often acknowledged that Kurt Cobain was a big Melvins fan and may have actually been a roadie of theirs for a short time.
