<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Five years ago I was stricken with Poison Oak all over my face. I looked like Elephant Man. Eyes nearly swollen shut. This did not stop me from going down to the club in the early afternoon to catch the sound check. An amalgamation of many Melvins songs and riffs. I tried desperately to get the band to have dinner with me. Bribing the Melvins with free food didn't work. Much to my surprise, Adam Jones from Tool was there. Buzz and Adam ended up feeling sorry for my lame appearance and endured a few lame questions about my passion for the band. Buzz was rather polite and damn cool. Thanks Buzz. I returned later to the show and got messy in the pit with my fellow fans. They played well that night.</div>Dougsillers
