Dave Grohl is best known as the drummer for Nirvana, and frontman of the Foo Fighters.

He began his music career as the drummer for several Washington, DC bands in the 1980s. Most prominent of these was Scream.

Grohl was recruited by Buzz Osborne for the King Buzzo solo EP, under the name "Dale Nixon".
