King Buzzo was released in 1992 through Boner Records.
The idea, artwork and logos for these solo EPs is based on the solo albums released by members of KISS in 1978.
Nirvana's Dave Grohl plays drums on this EP. Grohl is credited as "Dale Nixon", a pseudonym Greg Ginn adopted to play bass on Black Flag's album My War.
Osborne does not appear on Skeeter at all. Grohl recorded "Just Another Story About Skeeter Thompson" in 1990, and it appeared on his Late! Pocketwatch cassette. Skeeter Thompson was the bassist of Grohl's old band Scream.
